# JOKKEN

> JOKKEN is a German-built, GDPR-compliant platform for voice- and text-based AI assistants that act as an intelligent digital employee for businesses — automating customer service, taking phone calls, booking appointments, and easing internal communication. Built and hosted in Germany, with customer data never used to train AI models.

A business creates its own AI assistant in minutes (no IT team required), connects its own knowledge (documents, web pages), and deploys it as a website chat/voice widget or an inbound phone agent. The assistant answers customer questions, takes calls, schedules appointments, and supports internal knowledge lookup — by text or natural speech, in multiple languages, around the clock. Data is hosted in Germany, transmitted end-to-end encrypted, and is never used to train AI models.

JOKKEN is aimed especially at small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs / Mittelstand) and the trades (Handwerk), to relieve staff of administrative work.
